Stimulating Dog Training Courses

PetSmart's Brain Games Addresses Boredom & Hyperactivity

PetSmart's new dog training course, Brain Games, was created to help pet parents address boredom, overstimulation and hyperactivity, all the while improving the bonds between pet and owner in a healthy way. Knowing that pets have also faced challenges during the pandemic, and pet parents want to build better relationships with these important members of the family, PetSmart created a six-week course with games and skills to enhance trust and communication.

In the course, dogs can learn to associate written words with cues, recognize objects and identify toys by name. By building these communication skills with their pets, owners have the potential to help dogs make their own choices.

Brain Games is one of seven courses through PetSmart led by accredited trainers.
