A Dog's Story is an innovative new smartphone app, launched by the Auckland Council in New Zealand as part of a collaboration with Colenso BBDO and Pedigree, that is designed to make it easier than ever to teach children as well as adults about the ins and outs of dog safety.
The interactive app takes the form of an adventure game. As users play the game, they are exposed to eight different lessons that focus on some of the most important but least well understood tips and guidelines surrounding the topic of dog safety. Once users navigate the app-based game, they will know everything from how to respond if a dog runs towards you aggressively to how to behave around a dog when it's eating.
