DNA tests are common, but you probably don't think about or even see packaging for a DNA testing set very often. This particular one is a beautiful design by Izvorka Juric, developed for the Genos private DNA lab.
The cylindrical tubes are made from cardboard and are quite artfully wrapped in a white matte board with a subtle DNA chain-inspired patterning on it. On top of this, each of the tubes is color-coded to represent a different type of DNA test for easy sorting when it gets to the lab.
Inside each of the Genos testing sets is some fairly standard equipment, plus forms and instructional panels for a DNA test, which are also color-coded. The sticker labels that seal the tubes are also printed and applied in matching colors, but their main purpose is to protect the package and prevent any kind of tampering.
