Nike's D/MS/X Line Launches New Air Max 720 Colorways

Nike unveils the latest additions to its D/MS/X line -- this subsection by the sportswear brand explores new and experimental forms. The sneakers that are added draw inspiration from the look of retro 80s basketball footwear, with elements such as the cushioned pods, classic round laces, and uppers with top-stitching.

The new silhouette also blends multiple textiles with a long tongue tab that goes over the laces. Additional components feature the thin netting that wraps around the upper quarters and padded backstays in order to deliver added support for the ankles. Branding details include a plethora of "AIRMAX 720" across the mudguards. The waving monochromatic graphics across the uppers gives it a futuristic look.
