Computing giant Microsoft has decided to go ahead and encourage avid DIYers, makers and tinkerers to take on their very own DIY security camera project by taking Windows IoT and harnessing it to build a high-tech motion-sensing security cameras
While many DIYers out there have already used the Raspberry Pi mini computer for this sort of project, the Windows IoT approach is rather different in that the process to set up the software is exceedingly simple, making it very easy to create the camera's security system. All you need is a Windows PC, a motion sensor, a Raspberry Pi 2 and a USB camera.
Ultimately, this DIY security camera project makes for a great and easy way to get to know Windows IoT whilst also creating something worthwhile at the same time.
