The Digital Welcome was created to connect students with a virtual replica of a university's campus and key landmarks. Where possible, many students are opting to take their classes online this back-to-school season, which means that thousands of new university students will be missing out on welcome weeks and in-person events to get to know their new campus and peers. Several UK universities are being reimagined for this digital event series, which gives students the opportunity to join sports teams, interest groups and engage with brands and local businesses.
