The Diesel Spring Summer 2012 Ad is Unexpected
Courtney Scharf — June 2, 2012 — Marketing
Employing some uncharacteristically hairy models to promote the products, the Diesel Spring Summer 2012 campaign is unexpectedly hilarious.
The campaign focuses around a YouTube video which features some very well-behaved dogs with a diva attitude. It features a series of different dog models, each with their own distinct personality portrayed quite clearly. It's almost startling how normal the sunglasses look on the canines, and how well they seem to fit. Sure to generate more than a little bit of buzz for the company, this is an awesome way to get attention. The sunglasses have a 50s flair to them, and the video seems to go along with this by exuding an old school Hollywood vibe.
Surprisingly glamorous and a definite attention-grabber, this campaign is sure to be an effective marketing approach for Diesel.
