Monika Pacíková turns GELATO into a candleholder that keeps a soft-serve silhouette on the table after dessert. A taper rises from a loose glass coil that broadens toward the bottom and spreads into an uneven base, giving home diners a sculptural object as well as a place for candlelight.
Made by hand at Czech glassworks, each piece follows the same spiral idea but settles a little differently, so two holders in a set are similar rather than identical. Clear Bohemian crystal shows every bend, while an alexandrite version shifts between blue and purple as the light in a room changes.
At about 6.7 inches tall and 3.5 pounds, GELATO turns a candlestick into a substantial tabletop accent. That heft and the visible hand-formed variation give homeware buyers a centerpiece that can stay on a sideboard or dining table between meals.
