In-App Delayed Bag Deliveries

The Delta Fly App Partnered with Roadie to Deliver Delayed Bags

Airports aren't usually synonymous with consumer convenience but Delta is aiming to change that with a series of initiatives like its new mobile-based bag claiming service that works in unison with the Delta Fly app.

The new update makes the process of claiming one's bag even more streamlined than previously through partnering with Roadie -- an Atlanta-based start-up that connects businesses with drivers willing to make local and long-haul deliveries. Travelers can take advantage of the service when they file a delayed bag claim. The user will can make this claim with the brand's in-app process. Once the bag arrives, a Roadie driver can bring the bag to where the passenger is staying, instead of requiring people to wait or return to the airport.
