The Belgian supermarket brand Delhaize enlisted the creative help of Lavernia & Cienfuegos to craft the perfect packaging for the company's line of regional wines. This collection of vino features grapes from all over the world. The regional origins of each wine type is highlighted by various manipulations of the lowly cork.
Created with a touch of humor and kitsch, each personalized cork touts a different cultural item that ties the label to the wine's home region. For example, one of the Delhaize french wines features a cork in a chef's hat, which is a nod to the country's culinary prowess. The rest of the packaging is simple, featuring minimalist typography and a white cap that unites the entire line.
Playful, crafty and fun to look at, the Delhaize Wines of the World labels are full of irresistible charm.
