After hosting a 12-hour live event, Defected is introducing Defected WWWorldwide events in partnership with Twitch and its Squad Stream function. This means that these virtual events have three virtual rooms with DJs playing concurrently in each, which helps to stimulate the nightclub experience that many are missing. Like attending a club in person, the virtual experience is designed to give people the freedom to explore at their leisure.
While the first event in the series will be kicking off in just a few days, Twitch users will also be able to tune into a special Pride celebration hosted by Glitterbox later in the month. The final event in the series takes place in July and it promises to transport attendees "back to Ibiza for an event that will replicate a regular Defected Ibiza night."
