Reconstructed High Fashion Jackets

For Its Deconstructed Jacket, clothsurgeon Uses Burberry Scarfs

Staying true to its ethos and unique stylistic approach, clothsurgeon launches a deconstructed jacket design. The piece makes use of patterns and materials that are identified with luxe fashion house Burberry.

The stylish outerwear is a part of clothsurgeon's ongoing 'Reconstruct Project.' For this one, the label makes use of four vintage Burberry wool scarves that boast the iconic checkered print. Thus, the deconstructed jacket offering is a one-of experiment that presents the luxurious British fashion house in a new way. In addition, clothsurgeon lines the creatively depicted piece with Gaberdine — "traditionally used on Burberry's signature trench," and creates a playfully sophisticated embellishment with tassels.

The project goes a long way of destabilizing social perception of big brand names and offering an experimental outside perspective.
