Dazed & Confused Magazine celebrates out-of-this-world Fall/Winter 2009 fashion in the editorial 'The Ultimate' for their June 2009 issue.

Shot by photographer Mark Pillai, the stylish editorial explains, “The ultimate robot woman is invincible in the Armour of the Autumn/Winter collections.”

The editorial features outlandish pieces such as the Nasir Mazhar galaxy hat that Lady Gaga recently wore on Ellen and robotic creations by Thierry Mugler.

Implications - The editorial features works by Gareth Pugh who made custom-made masks for the photo shoot. The masks were made to mold around the models' face and distort "the human form into protective armour, ready for war." Unique fashion styles include one-piece suits, dresses with geometric patterns and puffy coats that drape down to the floor.
