This Cykelmageren Bicycle is Incredibly Eye-Catching

Danish bicycle makers Cykelmageren certainly captured the eye of visitors at the North American Handmade Bicycle Show with this bicycle, that was created specially for the show.
The first thing that catches the eye is the bike's swooping, pointy stainless steel frame. Once you get past that you, instantly notice the vertically oriented handlebars that are made from a marble-like composite rather than the usual rubber. The same marble-like material is also used in the custom wheel hubs.
This Cykelmagaren creation, designed by Rasmus Gjesing, is also fitted with custom-made shifters that make use of an arrangement of chains and gears situated on the underside of the bars. These are connected to regular shifting cables, one of which is hooked up to a rear derailleur modified to work as an index shifter.
With its unique appearance and materials, this pointy bike might just be pointing towards the future of bicycle construction.
