Most consumers are familiar with the long, straight wand of a curling iron, but the CurlBar from Hot Tools reinvents the shape of this hair-styling tool to improve its functionality.

The reinvented curling iron boasts an L-shaped form, which promises to help style hair in a way that's faster and easier with less overall strain. Since there is a bend in the arm of the styling tool, using the device barely requires one to lift their arms over their shoulders.

Other features of the inventive CurlBar include that it has a rotating control dial, the ability to heat up to 450 degrees and a timer that can be set to prevent hair from burning. The iron is offered in two sizes, including one-inch and a 1.25-inch options, which are ideal for creating curls and waves of different styles.
