The CUE air washer is a home air purification device that replaces traditional disposable filters with a water-based cleaning system. The CUE air washer uses circulating water to create a 360-degree curtain that captures dust, pollutants, and odors as air passes through it, removing the need for replaceable filters. This approach eliminates the recurring cost of filter replacements, which can reach around $100 annually in conventional air purifiers.
The system follows a “washing air” principle inspired by natural rainfall, where particles are physically removed rather than trapped in a dry filter. Captured pollutants are collected in the water tank, which is emptied and refreshed instead of replaced with new components. Additional features include UV-C sterilization to maintain water hygiene and evaporative humidification that balances indoor air moisture.
