One of the start-ups featured by Taiwan Tech Arena at CES 2020 included Yunyun Tech, which exhibited its innovative Cubo AI-driven smart baby monitor at the technology conference. The next-gen baby monitor was created by surveying thousands of first-time parents and helps to address common worries like the risk of suffocation. While there are many baby monitors that are equipped to help parents check in on an infant as they rest, Yunyun Tech recognized an opportunity to create a monitor that could detect and alert parents to potentially dangerous situations.
The bird-shaped monitor observes a baby's mouth and nose, and also offers automatic photo taking, ultra-HD night vision and dangerous zone detection—parents can also remotely check in on their child via the app, as well as get a read on the temperature and humidity.
