Cube Works Studio Turns Multicolored Cubes Into Works of Art

Toronto-based Cube Works Studio are turning Rubik's Cubes into amazing one-of-a-kind art pieces. The creative team includes a collaboration of graphic architects and “cubers” who turn the ordinary multicolored blocks into beautiful avant garde portraits.

Cube Works Studio has been breaking design stories with their spectacular artworks. Their portfolio includes a rendition of the Sistine Chapel’s centerpiece made of over 12,000 Rubik’s Cubes and a 4,050 Rubik’s Cube replica of The Last Supper.

Their latest series takes upon celebrity and movie character portraits. Together the Cube Works Studio team finely tuned dozens of Rubik's Cubes to have a spectacular outcome. The team drew inspirations from such famous faces as Jimi Hendrix, Rihanna, Edward ScissorHands and much more.
