The Cruise Origin has been launched by the brand as an autonomous transportation solution that aims to optimize the passenger experience by completely rethinking vehicle design. Looking almost like a microbus, the vehicle can be summoned by passengers through the accompanying smartphone app and will arrive with ample space for four (or six, if required). The all-electric vehicle positions passengers facing one another to save space and also maximize legroom to make the ride more of an enjoyable experience.
The Cruise Origin is completely free of all amenities that are usually found in vehicles for the driver including a steering wheel, rear-view mirror, pedals and windshield wipers. This helps the vehicle to further maximize efficiency and rethink car cabin interiors in the face of autonomous technology.
