Disclaimer: The Crocodile Costume by Hisako Matsumoto is completely ceramic-based; there is no trace of any animal leather.

The Crocodile Costume has a coat with matching shoes and a hat. From afar, the texture of the coat does look like real crocodile skin, but it really isn't. Matsumoto made this costume as a part of her final graduate project. Animal-free coats? We need more of these running around.

Implications - Many consumers find themselves unwilling to invest time or money into a particular product because of the way it was produced or because of the materials it includes. Businesses that can replicate these products in ways that complement a variety of lifestyle choices will see massive returns.
