The Crescent Shelving is a freestanding storage piece designed by stylist Colin King for Danish design brand Audo. The shelving unit is crafted in lacquered oak and features a distinctive profile that is flat at the front and gently curved at the back. Rather than sitting against a wall like traditional shelving, the design is intended to occupy the center of a room and remain visually complete from every angle. The form allows light and sightlines to pass through while providing open shelving for books and decorative objects.
Rounded edges and smooth contours soften the structure, giving the piece a sculptural presence while maintaining practical storage. The shelving is available in two heights, allowing it to function as a console behind a sofa or as a taller room divider in larger interiors.
