This creamsicle cocktail is a romantic libation perfect for celebrating with on February 14th. Created by Ashley Rose Conway and featured on the blog Sugar and Cloth, the blood orange and rose creamsicle cocktail recipe mixes seasonal citrus with romantic floral ingredients. The creaminess also adds a different texture.
To make these alcoholic beverages at home, you will need vodka (such as Belvedere) and Licor 43. Organic cream and simple syrup are used to create the creamsicle finish while fresh blood orange juice and rose water give the drink its unusual, yet refreshing flavor combination. For garnish, you can also add a slice of blood orange and some edible flower petals if you really want to go all out.
