eBay's Crash Sale Will Offer Unmissable Deals if Amazon Crashes on Prime Day

On July 15th, Amazon is planning to kick off its two-day Prime Day sale and to challenge this, eBay will be launching a site-wide Crash Sale on the same day. eBay's cheekily named sale references the fact that in 2018, Amazon's website experienced a heavy amount of online traffic and quickly crashed as soon as Prime Day started. With its 2019 Crash Sale, eBay is promising "an additional wave of can't-miss deals if Amazon crashes that day."

While eBay's July events give online shoppers the chance to save money all month long, the ecommerce giant is promising even more great deals to challenge one of its biggest competitors. For its Crash Sale, eBay is promising up to 50% off on top brands and other "too-good-to-be-true deals."
