The classic CPR dummy takes the form of a training manikin with a male form but WoManikin is on a mission to save the lives of women by introducing an attachment for current CPR manikins. The WoManikin was created by ad agency JOAN and the United State of Women based on study findings that reveal "women suffering from a cardiac arrest in public are 27 percent less likely to receive CPR."
While CPR manikins are designed to represent the human body, the majority of them fail to represent women, which is crucial in helping people become educated about how they can potentially save a life regardless of gender disparities.
