While it is quite common for single-serve yogurt pots to be paired with separate compartments filled with either indulgent or healthy toppings, cottage cheese snacks are seldom packaged in the same way. However, now that cottage cheese is emerging as a high-protein dairy snack that lends itself well to both sweet and savory applications, brands are experimenting with a number of unique pairings to enhance both the taste and texture of the product.

DairyPure recently launched its Mix-Ins cottage cheese cups with two kinds of fruit add-ins—Blueberry or Pineapple—as well as Peaches with Pecans and Strawberries with Almonds varieties that include domed compartments filled with crunchy nut toppings. In each 5.3-ounce cup, there are between 15 to 17 grams of protein.
