The Coperni x Transparent Speaker Jacket Makes Favorite Music Wearable

At the SS24 Coperni collection showing during Paris Fashion Week, the Coperni x Transparent Speaker Jacket made its runway debut. This speaker-integrated design with a 70s-inspired feel was created in collaboration with Swedish sound company Transparent, known for its minimalist high-fi speakers.

The deceptively simple jacket with built-in speakers was meticulously engineered to avoid ergonomic and audio challenges. For this jacket design, Transparent sourced components from its smallest existing speaker, the Light Speaker, and the collaborating brands created prototypes fitted with 3D-printed models.

The finished product is a comfortable, wearable solution for taking music to go with a powerful speaker system with no visible wires for a sleek look; the Coperni x Transparent Speaker Jacket's amplifier connections are tucked into a front pocket and the battery pack is within the jacket’s lining.
