As much as labeling can set one product apart from its competing goods, the designer of these cookie tins understands that it's a completely different container that will really make an item stand out. This hypothetical brand of Caramel Chunk Almond cookies influenced a spin on the packaging: it's cans of nuts that this product was made to resemble.

Lim Xin Yu's worked with a retro color scheme of warm shades from maroon to orange, using color blocking with triangular patterns for a highly stimulating wrapper. Old-fashioned slab typography describes the contents of the cookie tins and a single photograph of a biscuit suggests the baked goods inside that you cannot see. It's a backwards-looking branding strategy with contemporary freshness that would make these cookie tins appeal to vintage-loving millennials and nostalgic boomer consumers.
