Casio is expanding character watches with the BABY-G x Baby Molly BGD-10KPM-7, a digital watch that shifts from wristwear to a bag charm without tools. The POP MART collaboration gives collectors two ways to carry the same piece, with a pink holder that keeps the display active after the center case is removed. The strap shows Baby Molly with Baby Tabby on the way to kindergarten.
Character details do more than decorate it. The light-up screen brings out Baby Molly's blue eyes, and the back carries the character's 20th-anniversary logo. It remains a full BABY-G with 10-bar water resistance and about three years of battery life. Japan gets the watch in November 2026 at ¥16,500.
Tool-free conversion turns a licensed watch into an accessory that can live on a wrist or a bag. A wrist-or-bag format widens the use case for character watches and makes collectibility easier to fold into daily wear.
