Refurbished Avian Accommodations

This Converted Helicopter is Apart of a New England Resort

Located in Morris, Connecticut, the Winvian Resort is 113-acres of sprawling greenery boasting a handful of interesting accommodation options, including a building that houses a converted helicopter.

The intriguing incorporation of a 1968 Sikorsky Sea King Pelican HH-3F Coast Guard helicopter sees the vehicle's fuselage transformed into a sitting area, complete with a mini bar and luxurious television. The converted helicopter still boasts the original seating, switches and gauges.

The helicopter seating room is inside a barn-like building, one of the resort's 18 themed cottages, and features a king-size bed, a bathroom and a wood-burning stove.

This unconventional accommodation effort is listed on Booking.com, ready for any aviation enthusiasts to experience the stay of a lifetime.
