This Architect Took an Office Space and Turned It into a Modern Home

A creative thrives on the opportunity to innovate and this architect took a former dental office and transformed it into a beautiful converted apartment.

Located in Milan, architecture firm +R Piurre took a space that was two stories on top of a building and made a work-from-home living space. The city of Milan has an aura of elegance and the approach took inspiration from that to create a modern space with attention to detail. The architect took the small space and used the natural lighting from the large roof-windows to create an illusion of a more spacious environment and also used storage spaces located all over the apartment for spatial efficiency.

The 60 square-metered converted apartment includes a lower level with a lounge area and a kitchen/dining room and on the upstairs floor there is a bedroom, a walk-in closet and a workspace.
