Chic Contemporary Lounge Chairs

Industrial Facility’s Sling Lounge Chair has a Striking Aesthetic

Industrial Facility—a London-based design studio founded by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin—has really outdone itself with the launch of this contemporary lounge chair. Dubbed the ‘Sling Lounge Chair,’ the striking piece is alluring with its subtle minimalism yet strikingly chic silhouette. The furniture was designed for the Danish furniture company Takt.

The ultra-chic contemporary lounge chair is constructed out of high-quality FSC-certified oak. Sam Hecht and Kim Colin took the opportunity here to develop a new take on traditional, timeless silhouettes of seating in this category. Takt elaborated on the designers’ vision with Dezeen: “The design solution creates a genuinely new type of chair, an altogether different – but comfortably recognizable – typology suited to the reality of modern living.”
