Connected Winter Ski Resorts

YUZAWA SNOW LINK Connects Three Japanese Ski Destinations

YUZAWA SNOW LINK is bringing connected winter ski resorts to travelers in Japan through a destination linking three mountain areas in Niigata Prefecture. Opening for the 2026–2027 season on December 26, the network combines skiing and snowboarding with cultural experiences, allowing visitors to explore multiple resorts during one winter getaway.

Connecting Yuzawa Kogen, GALA Yuzawa, and Ishiuchi Maruyama, the destination offers 45 courses suited to different experience levels. Travelers can reach GALA Yuzawa from Tokyo in as little as 71 minutes by Shinkansen. Beyond the slopes, visitors can enjoy historic hot springs, locally produced sake, and regional dishes featuring Niigata-grown rice.

For the participating resorts, the connected experience creates opportunities to attract day-trippers and overnight visitors. Combining outdoor recreation with dining, relaxation, and sightseeing also supports local tourism businesses and encourages travelers to explore the surrounding region.
