The majority of technology products on the market are getting small and slimmer but the air conditioner unit has stayed relatively the same until the development of the Artistic Air Conditioner design.

Capable of being installed in a wall in order to save as much space as possible, the Artistic Air Conditioner fits into a hollow space and slides forward when in use. This allows the cool air to escape through the created crevice between the wall and the unit to save space and eliminate the need for a large section to be dedicated to the appliance.

The Artistic Air Conditioner unit is the design work of Zheng Dongping, Jia Siyuan, Liu Binwen, Xu Tengfei and Lin Leye. It's the winner of the Red Dot Design Award for 2016.
