These Award-Winning Concept Tires Promise Next-Level Performance

South Korean tire company Kumho has gone ahead and devised a pair of truly extraordinary concept tires that have been recognized by an International Design Excellence Award.
The first of the two concept tires is the Smasher, whose name rightly hints towards its aggressive appearance and function as it is designed to offer reliable traction when driving off-road, with its special suction plates capable of making a vacuum between tire and road. This allows the vehicle to navigate steep slopes safely and effectively.
The second concept tire is the Sealant, which is capable of healing itself after it suffers a puncture.
Despite differing in their core functions, both these concept tires ultimately aim to improve upon some of the most persistent faults of traditional tires.
