The Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinic, located at 1423 Greenfield St., offers comprehensive care to uninsured or underinsured individuals. This community clinic model reflects Novant Health's commitment to overcoming barriers to healthcare and delivering vital services to those in need. Following the success of two clinics in Charlotte, this expansion was made possible by a $10 million donation from Jordan to the Novant Health foundations. The clinic in Wilmington features 12 patient rooms and operates Monday through Friday, with additional support from a community health worker and Novant Health's Community Care Cruiser.
With over 9,000 patient visits provided by the Charlotte clinics last year, the expansion to Wilmington is expected to have a profound impact on the local community.
