This is revolutionary for an online shopping platform that's main focus to-date has been wide-scale accessibility. While this will still remain a feature of the Etsy brand, consumers can now also look for products sold exclusively in their area and shop locally.
The new feature is known as On the Grid and it allows shoppers to interact with a visually stunning interface that organizes products and shops on the site through location and city for easier local searching.
With on-going economic strife, consumers are aiming to support their communities through local shopping experiences that still allow them to purchase the items they want.
