The Ruby LA is a comedy club and school that sets itself apart for being inclusive and "openly founded on the ideals of intersectional feminism." The comedy theater is a safe space for a wide variety of comedians and artists, which is much-needed considering the comedy industry is still largely dominated by men.

On Friday nights at the inclusive comedy club, The Ruby hosts The Ruby Show, its premiere improv show, which is open to the public for a fee of just $5—as well as free to the theater's own students and team members.

As The Ruby prides itself on being a place for women, people of color, non-binary folks and members of the LGBTQ+ community, it has strong anti-harassment and anti-bullying policies in place.
