SPX FLOW's Combi MP is a Portable Tool for Ingredient Development
SPX FLOW has introduced a portable pilot system — designated as Combi MP. This innovation is designed to assist food producers in developing improved whey protein ingredients. Through this offering, the company hopes to help manufacturers create whey proteins that are smoother and creamier for integration into various food and beverage items.
The portable unit allows for on-site testing and refinement of product formulations using two distinct microparticulation technologies — LeanCreme and Cavimaster — from a single, integrated platform. Operating at a small scale of 150 liters per hour, the Combi MP system enables companies to experiment with limited quantities of materials, thereby minimizing waste during the research and development phase.
