The coffee table is constructed with bent plywood that looks like a piece of paper that has been folded to achieve a decidedly fluid form perfect for creating a visual statement without heft. The coffee table thus offers ample storage space on top as well as in the interior section with the small section between the two edge acting as the perfect spot for positioning publications.
Aktay commented on the functionality of the 'Cocoon' coffee table to Homecrux saying, "I made the design keeping in mind that it appears as if the table is like hugging the stored items on the base level which gives you a very comfortable feeling."
