The 'Wearoff' Clothing Care System Eliminates Contaminants

The conceptual 'Wearoff' clothing care system has been developed as a discreet appliance for the home that will enable consumers to clean their clothes without the need for a traditional washing machine.

The appliance works by having garments hung on the incorporated hook and scanned with a smartphone; users can then clean the piece of clothing using the incorporated wand – which manually removes particles and dust. The 'Air Clean' functionality will deodorize clothes through the use of anion particles, which will finish the cleaning process and have garments ready for wear in a short amount of time.

The conceptual 'Wearoff' clothing care system is the design work of Taekwon Yeon, Jisu Yun, Hyelin Yu, Jiyoung Shin, Hanna Yoo and Daeun Yoo, and identifies the need for more efficient, eco-friendly appliances for the modern home.
