Artistically Set Clock Installations

Humans Since 1982 Have Given Time Tellers An Artistic Purpose

Traditionally, the hands of a clock are meant to tell time, but this latest clock installation piece by Humans Since 1982 attempts to display that they can also project other purposes such as art. The work includes a whopping 576 motors which are used to power all of the different hands.

Humans Since 1982 have done a lot of work with clocks in the art field and have a couple other clocks installations featured on Trend Hunter.

The promotional video piece is definitely worth a watch as it shows the clocks “shift time” in order to create different designs, patterns, numbers and lettering. It’s quite interesting to see it in motion, but for a purpose other than keeping time.
