This Slack bot leverages the latest technology to enhance classroom interaction. Based in India, productivity software startup Litlbot facilitates real-time interactivity in class, offering more personalized learning.
The educational tool acts as a digital assistant, a way to assess and align students and as a platform to ask anonymous questions. Students can vote on these questions. Litlbot also gives teachers the opportunity to adjust their teaching method as they go. Teachers can submit polls to receive feedback and check retention levels as well.
Classroom interaction is just one application of such technology. Similar bots have been used for everything from customer service and marketing to awareness-raising charity campaigns. Other academic applications include accent-ameliorating chat bots. Physical robots have also been used for education purposes.
