People living in the city of Victoria in Canada can now make use of an innovative new civic app that is designed to make it easier for them to engage in communications and different sorts of interactions with civic authorities.
When you come to think about it, there are a lot of situations that require communication between civic authorities and citizens, with examples ranging from people applying for jobs with local authorities to reporting repair needs on roads. This is where the ConnectVictoria civic app comes in.
Created as part of a collaboration with FreshWorks Studios, this app lets citizens proactively engage with their city, something that offers benefits both to them as well as to the community at large -- particularly because it empowers residents to easily alert authorities to issues ranging from broken windows to open potholes.
