The conceptual Citroën eCV has been designed as a vehicle that reimagines the Citroën 2CV in a modern way that could easily become an iconic part of Parisian city streets. Designed by Martin Hajek, the vehicle is futuristic yet draws direct design influence from the aforementioned Citroën vehicle that was first debuted in 1948.
The vehicle boasts a completely electric design that eliminates emissions and also features self-driving capabilities to help transport citizens or tourists around the French capital. This could help make the vehicle an instantly recognizable part of the Parisian experience as hackney cabs are to London and yellow cabs are to New York.
The conceptual Citroën eCV has a fluid design that respects the past, while also pushing forward into the future of autonomous vehciles.
