The Angry Orchard Cider Company launched the Cider+Food App with augmented reality as a way to simplify the process of settling on a cider pairing. The platform distinguishes itself as a first-of-its-kind application that focuses on hard cider and food pairings.

The cider pairing can be used with core products from Angry Orchard, including its Crisp Apple, Rosé, Easy Apple and Pear. To share its expertise with consumers at the table, Angry Orchard created a digital experience that's guided by head cider maker Ryan Burk, who shares tasting notes and recipe ideas.

While the bright and best-selling Angry Orchard Crisp Apple is said to be a great match for the sweet barbecue flavors in pulled pork sliders, the sweet, fruity and floral Rosé is said to pair well with prosciutto-wrapped melon.
