The Starbucks Chocolate Mousse Latte is making its debut in Japan as a new option for customers to try out as the weather begins to shift to cooler temperatures and they seek out richer flavor experiences. The menu item starts off with the brand's Espresso Roast espresso that's reported to have notes of caramel-like sweetness and a rich profile, which pairs well with the chocolate mousse that's added overtop. The final result is a sweet, nutty and chocolate-forward drink that also plays with textures to work well for a wide range of consumer preferences.

The Starbucks Chocolate Mousse Latte will be available for customers to order at participating locations starting September 30 and will be on offer through October 31, 2024.
