ChocoChicken by Adam Fleischman, the mastermind behind Umami Burger, is his next business venture. A crazy concoction, it is essentially a chocolate friend chicken. Making the classic southern dish a little more luxurious, the flavors may not appear to go hand-in-hand, but the restauranteur begs to differ.
The recipe was dreamed up by Keith Previte and Sean Robbins, who cold called Los Angeles-based businessman and chef one day to get him to try it out. He recalls, "So I said, 'Come on over, make me some chicken.' I wanted to see how crazy and stupid they were. I tasted it and I said, 'Hey, you guys aren't stupid at all.'" ChocoChicken by Adam Fleischman will also serve white-chocolate mashed potatoes, bacon biscuits and more.
