Nike's New Blazer Mid Gets a Chinese New Year Design Update
Nike introduces a new Chinese New Year design to the iconic Blazer Mid sneaker model to celebrate the upcoming festive holiday. The brand starts off with quilted fabric materials across the upper in place of the usual smooth leather material.
On each side of the shoe, the lateral and medial are finished in baby blue, light grey, and dusty pink, alternating throughout the different textured panels. Bright red details make up the Swooshes, the branding on the heel, and the laces on the forefront. Notably, the laces loop through a buckle attached to the collars rather than the usual eyelets. The shoes are then finished with a set of three jade embellishments on the lateral heel.
