These China Times Authentic Chinese Cuisine ads may be seen as a bit racist by some, but they do a good job of grabbing your attention.

Created by advertising agency DDB in Dubai, the campaign is for the China Times restaurant. The ads Feature men from three different ethnic backgrounds who are then infused with Chinese-like features. This campaign definitely walks a thin line between being controversial and humorous.

Implications - Consumers in modern society are naturally attracted to products that feature some sort of distinction from the norm. Advertising agencies attempting to increase the effectiveness of their campaigns could focus on creating some controversy within the images they produce.
