Adult-Targeted Cracker Branding

Chilean Sea Bass Crackers are the New Name for Goldfish Crackers

The Chilean Sea Bass crackers are the latest limited time offering branding of the iconic Goldfish crackers that's intended to make the kid-friendly snack more applicable to adult consumers. The branding update has the product looking and tasting the exact same, but boasts Chilean Sea Bass as the moniker in place of Goldfish to give it a more adult-sounding name. This tongue-in-cheek branding effort is meant to appeal to Millennial and Gen Z consumers who grew up eating the snack and still find themselves reaching for it.

The Chilean Sea Bass crackers will only be available via a special website where shoppers can pick up two bags for $7.38, but only while supplies last. The brand will be offering additional inventory each day through October 30, 2024.
